Nonna's Bathroom

In my grandma's lovely grand Hollywood home here in Los Angeles, she has an adorable guest bathroom. Covered in a beautiful red and white floral wall paper, the walls hold many art deco artworks. I can't help but admire all the little decorations and trinkets in this room so I thought I'd write about them. So here are some pictures of my favorites in this tiny square.

Two gorgeous pieces by Benti Voglio. I love these because the simplicity of the bodies and the colorful contrast behind them. I love the designs on them too.

Another painting by Benti Voglio. I usually don't like a too much white in paintings but he pulls it off impeccably.

I love this mirror. It's pretty small (looks giant in the picture) and I find it extremely adorable.

This is vintage wallpaper that my grandma put all around the bathroom.

I'm obsessed with this art deco head. I think it's so beautiful and I want it so bad!

Above the bathtub, my grandma has a shelf filled with little trinkets.

PRAIZE JEZUS

More paintings by Benti Voglio again - white looks great.

I know it's a bathroom, but it's probably my favorite room in the whole entire house. It's compact, adorable, and has some of the best artwork. I love it.

What Happens in Vegas, Stays on the Internet.

In February, my friend Devon and I went to Las Vegas, Nevada for some hard core gambling. No, we were just underaged, teen babies traveling with our families on vacation. Though we were legally incapable of shooting craps and winning the jackpot, we enjoyed ourselves until the early hours of the morning exploring this grand, amusement park looking hotel. With a little help from my friend Canon Rebel T3, we click, click, flashed all the way from the entrance back to our rooms.

D, clearly amused by the exciting night life.

Because my back is far more entertaining than casual, drunken, Vegas weddings.

I really like the black and white filter usage on these pictures. I adore the contrast between the lights and darks, all the different tones of grey, etc...I feel that black and white makes everything far more intimate and emotional no matter the subject in the photograph/film/(whatever you're creating).

Friends are not disposable.

My friends all gathered up under a beautiful cherry blossom tree having a picnic.

My lovely hound, Blaze.
An amazing sculpture we saw at a museum in DC. It was a map of the United States (obviously) and their stereotypes replaying on televisions of all different sizes.  By far one of my favorites.

A totally unclear photo of my finger and my friends at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

An alley that leads to the back of Ford's theater where John Wilkes Booth,  Lincoln's assassinator, was found exiting after killing the President.

Back of the White House, pretty self explanatory.

Front of the White House, again, self explanatory.

Washington Nationals baseball game. It was freezing.

He's super.

My boys fighting the flash.

My friend posing with a suitcase more expensive than my living quarters.

My lil Juanito and I loungin'  at a party in Topanga.

My friend's super cool planet phone case she got at the National Air and Space Museum.

Rub dat eye.

Enjoying the cold, they are.

My growing boys, ferociously hungry, politely waiting for their dinner.

My friends and I after a rap battle at George Washington's house.
